Still haunted by her mother’s death during an infamous exorcism and the endless media attention it attracted, she must navigate her own skepticism, public scrutiny, and the strange world of the fellowship. Complicating everything is a fellow scholar whose devotion unsettles her almost as much as her growing attraction to him. But as she digs deeper, she realizes that studying miracles may demand more of her than she ever expected.
